Safe Lock

My colleague and friend Kelly and I were chosen to take up a project at work. We have already so much work to do but this project was one that would help us get more organized with our things and save us valuable time. In our filing area we have stock certificates and other important original documents that literally worth money to the bank. However, because we’ve had high volume of requests we have been piling up things and certain documents aren’t as protected as they should be. To start, Kelly and I decided to buy a safe lock to keep the stock certificates and other original documents safe and secured from thieves or other hazards.

We went to a few stores to search for the organizing items we needed to buy to get our filing room organized. Our administrative assistant has been out on maternity leave for a month now and for some strange reason human resources has not gotten a replacement. We usually order things through her but we haven’t the slightest idea on how to do it ourselves and who our main providers are. To make it even harder she locked her drawers where she keeps all this information. Even though the assistant is abiding by our bank policy to keep all our work documents locked when we are away, it did not help us in this particular situation.safe lock

Kelly and I were able to find all the things we needed and in the matter of a week. We were able to rearrange things and put in storage old documents that had also been neglected since our other filing clerk had quit. Lately Kelly and I have been taking up two job duties in one but we are glad we are done. What was most important was keeping the stock certificates safely in our cabinets with a safe lock because they are worth thousands of dollars and we are satisfied with our purchase.

Locksmith Services

From time to time, we all need locksmith services. Whether it is because we have gotten ourselves locked out of the house again or because we want to re-key our locks for maximum security, or any other reason for that matter. Usually, people ask friends and family for referrals or recommendations of locksmiths they have previously contacted but for those who don’t know anyone, they have to contact any random locksmith they usually find online.

A good way to choose a locksmith from the internet is to look for one whoTelephone receiver is transparent. This means that if you find a locksmith who has no problem reflecting the different prices for the services they offer, they will most likely stick to that price or at least it won’t go much higher. This is very important because there are several locksmiths who tend to overcharge clients and take advantage of them.

Another common practice among unreliable locksmiths is providing a quota over the phone and then in person they give you a much higher price. If that happens to you it can be a delicate situation. It is not comfortable to tell a locksmith you contacted that you no longer want their services when they show up to assist you. But it is something that you should do if you feel they are trying to rip you off. If they told you one price over the phone and you agreed to that, but then they come over and tell you it is way higher, then you should reject their service and contact somebody else.

My first Safe

I am a huge fan of James Bond. He’s so suave, sophisticated and resourceful. I remember I emulated him so much growing up, in those Pierce Brosnan years… ah they were golden. I can’t remember what movie it was or if it was one featuring Pierce himself but, I saw a safe hidden behind an oil painting. Wow! How quaint I thought, my very own safe seemed a very distant reality, besides, what would I store? I’m sure candy and my Barbie dolls wouldn’t be attractive bait for professional burglars. But when I turned 21, I had cash, a checkbook, and enough information on a hard drive to make some people nervous. I decided I could no longer postpone the excitement of having one of my own, besides, I actually needed one, or so I thought.

Youngsters tend to be very impulsive, and while I won’t argue that my ‘’assets’’ indeed needed Imageprotection, buying a safe was probably a little farfetched. Once I bought it, I was thrilled at first but after a while, the safe lock became such a hassle (for me, lazy as usual). I mean remembering the combination, going right or left, how many turns… it all seemed inconvenient… a drawer with a lock would have done the deal maybe.

But I do hold fond memories of that safe, I gave it away to a cousin who apparently had no issue with the safe lock and actually enjoyed the retro feeling that it had. Personally I was much more of a techy, so I went with a digital one, punch in a code and lo and behold, it opened! I store much more valuable things now, jewelry, bonds, and important documents. I think we all should protect important things, and if you (like my cousin) have no issue with the traditional safe lock, I highly encourage you to get one. They are much cheaper actually, and in all honesty, sometimes I do miss turning that safe lock left and right and once the combination actually clicked, that magical sound did have some powerful acoustic impact intrinsically attached to it. Next step, buy an oil painting and hide my safe behind it, now that will be cool!

Safe Locks

Everyone has things in their home that are really important and probably expensive. Some people have expensive jewelry and others even hold large amounts of money at home. It is important to keep those valuable items safe from thieves. That is why safe locks exist and they are a good investment for those who have personal belongings that mean a lot to them or that may be quite expensive. Safe locks are secure lockable boxes where you can store those items that mean the most to you.

While it is good to have a safe at home to store valuable items, that is not their only purpose. Safe locks are also used a lot in businesses like banks. Also you can store confidential documents in a safe if they are private and don’t want to risk anyone having access to them.

If a burglar breaks into your home he will start looking for things of value. Sure, having a safe lock would definitely catch the guy’s attention and he will probably try to open it but chances are that he won’t succeed; there’s a reason why they are called safe locks. In addition, when someone breaks into a house to steal, he tries to do it as fast as possible and just run away with the first things of value that he finds.

Safes can also have extra security measures like gun proofing. Most locksmiths will be able to add those security measures and other enhanced anti-theft measures. Plus they can also reset a safe’s combination! So if you want anything like that just contact a locksmith with a good reputation and he will be able to assist you.
